"There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about."

                                                        -Margaret J. Wheatley

I am extremely grateful to be involved in so many platforms that allow me to extend my love for my community and the people within it. Even without a platform, I humbly accept the challenge of lifting up others in the times of need with no question of the cost. Here are just a few moments and platforms I am extremely grateful for.

In partnership with Unite for USD, the  Woman in Philanthropy requested my help to make an announcement about the current statistics following students mental health and the #UniteforUSD donor event that would follow it.

Inspired by a shared mission, USD Women in Philanthropy is providing a platform where women can pool their resources, passion and philanthropic insight to make a difference not only in the lives of students but also in their respective communities. By providing opportunities for engagement, women discover their passions and interests and connect with other women to become visionary investors supporting the University of South Dakota.

These pictures were taken on March 8, 2020...five days after a small but deadly tornado outbreak affected West and Middle Tennessee. It would turn into the 6th costliest tornado in US history. My school and my family were quick to take action. Along with many out of town and Nashville volunteers. This was an amazing and humbling opportunity. My family volunteered to bring all the supplies gathered by our local county schools. While there, we were given the chance to pack food for the victims and all the men and woman working extra hard the get Nashville back to its beauty.

Forever and Always...#NashvilleStrong

Being named Worlds Miss Tennessee Tourism 2020 has been an incredible journey.  Because of this platform, I was able to promote and participate in the celebration of National Read Across America Week. I started the week by reading to classes at my local elementary school and talking about the importance of uniqueness and education. Not to mention taking some really silly pictures.
